Marge Appleby wasn't having much luck finding large ripe beach plums. Bending over the low green bushes creeping across a divider in the north auxiliary parking lot at Bathing Beach Area 1 at Island Beach State Park, the Seaside Park resident plucked smallish, round red and purple berry-size fruit off the low, green bush.
